Anambas Islands

Named Asia's Best Tropical Island by CNN.com in 2013 the Anambas islands are indeed a tropical paradise. Located in the South China Sea, the Anambas are among Indonesia's northen-most border archipelagos.

Facing the wide open ocean, the Anambas provide a panoramic view of blue seas and green islands dotted with azure lagoons. Here are excellent dive spots where divers will be amazed at the colorful underwater life, while on land rows of coconut trees protect the soft white sand beaches, where turtles have made the shores of the islands of Keramut and Mangkal their habitat. The Anambas are adminidtratively an autonomous district, part of the province of the Riau Archipelago, and covers an area of 46,667 sq.kms where its outer seas are nearly 90 percent crossed by foreign vessels. It has only recently become a separate district apart from the neighboring Natuna islands.
In all, there are 255 islands in the Anambas cluster where only 26 are inhabited. There district has only some 45,500 population 97 percent of its territory is sea where the largest islands are Siantan, Palmatak and Jemaja. Capital of the district of Anambas is called Tarempa and lies on the islands of Siantan.
Admire the many lagoons here, especially on the islands of Pantai Selat Rangsang, Bawah Islands and Rongkat Islands, where islands emerge from the sea as out of nowhere. At low tide the islets grow together by the connecting sands, creating an islands sea and outer sea beyond, with lagoons that are paved with white sand and there and there clorful corals.
All of the islands in the Ananmbas have fine white beaches which glisten and become even more beautiful as the lagoons fill with aquamarine water through which one can see strange corals and schools of fish darting in the clear water.

Pok Tunggal Beach

Pok Tunggal Beach

That's Pok Tunggal Beach named Beach located on the West coast of Indrayanti in Gunung Kidul. Althourgh the journey to a location must pass throughthe Rocky path, but comparable to what would buddy get a Pok Tunggal Beach. Thw write sand stretching from the cliffs to the West up to the cliffs to the East. Yes, a Pok Tunggal Beach is flanked by two towering cliffs. If the West had made the road with casted and comes with some gazebo in the right and left the road, another case with the cliffs in the East because of its tilt up to 90 degrees. A tree seen standing among thousands of sand on the shore, which seems to have become the icons of a Pok Tunggal Beach.

Pok Tunggal Beach

The attraction of this beach has to offer is the sprkling white sand beaches, the surf is fairly quiet, solid coral clusters, as well as plants and trees that shade Inn beside the beach. To condition the coast it self is still "Virgin" because not many unspoiled by tourist.
To route to this beach from the initial position of the Indrayanti Beach, there are two alternative paths that can be traversed through which major road using the vehicle could use the line from Indrayanti to Coast Town Babbler. At a distance of  2.5 km to the coast's lips, you will see a signpost the direction towards the coast road on the right Pok Tunggal. And you will be faced with a trip along the rocks 2 km narrow, winding and somewhat rugged. Hehe .. well, calmy the way ....
Meanwhile, if you have a hobby of trekking, could be heading to the beach with a Pok Tunggal down footpaths along the East coast of Indrayanti. About 2 km on its eastern side it later you will find the famous white sand beaches with the name of the Pok Tunggal Group of Beach. An exhausting trip in advance will be paid off in full later by the appearance of a Pok Tunggal Beach is beautifull.
Why this beach is named after the beach, definitely on a Pok Tunggal wanted to know yahhh ? From there around the citizen information version says that the name comes  from the name  of a Tunggal group of group Tunggal, the group that initiated and manages this tour. While other versions say the name of the Tunggal comes from the word Pok Tuk tuk, i.e only Tunggal (source of water) located near a food stall West of the beach. Tuk is located under a tree in the water is clean, Ambal and now taken using the pump for the shared needs of local people. From the discussion with some local figures, obtained an overview that the icons are Pok Tunggal Beach tourist & water sources under the Ambal, also on the beach there are rare plants called tress or preserved Duras, and tourist must sunset. But the real charm of the Tunggal line is a group of cliffts that stand prodly like fortress to protect it from the outside world. Cliffs are perpendicular like the coral walls as high as the 50s meters this very potential to be developed as a sports arena climbing. Of course it took  gust and skill to rock climb this because up to now there has been no climbing routes (2012). Hospefully soon there are climbers who conquered these cliffs and open track.
